Calculator Data Usage
The inputs you type into most of our calculators stay inside your browser and are not sent to our servers. If you sign in and choose to save a mortgage plan, we store the plan name, mortgage assumptions, and extra payments you entered in your account; we do not store a calculated amortization schedule. Searches that return zero results may be aggregated and logged to help us improve the search tool.
Local and Session Storage
We use local and session storage in your browser to remember your preferences (such as language, dark mode, favorite tools, or recent history) so you don't have to reconfigure them on every visit.
Accounts and Authentication
Creating an account is entirely optional. If you choose to sign up, we use Clerk to securely handle your authentication and account data.
Account Data and Deletion
Depending on the features you choose, an account may store favorite calculators, mortgage plans, pricing presets, conversion references, business details, and uploaded logos. Mortgage plans are linked only to the account that saved them. You can export or permanently delete individual plans from the calculator. We also store the version and time of your policy acceptance. You can permanently delete the account and all of its saved plans from the account page.
Third Parties and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to help fund the free service. When ads are served, third parties including Google and its advertising partners may place and read cookies on your browser, use web beacons, and collect or use IP addresses and other identifiers. They may process information about your browser and device to deliver and measure ads, including relevant ads where permitted. In some jurisdictions (such as California), this activity may be considered 'sharing' under applicable privacy laws. We do not sell your data for money.
Retention and Security
We retain each saved mortgage plan until you delete it or delete your account. We retain other account data while the account exists or as needed to operate and protect the service. We use reasonable security measures, but no Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Children and Policy Changes
Figur is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will publish the new effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.
