Calculate a weighted grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Rows with zero credit hours are excluded, so you can use only the courses that apply. Calculate it clearly with Figur.
How the gpa calculator works
Calculate a weighted grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Rows with zero credit hours are excluded, so you can use only the courses that apply.
Method and assumptions
Figur multiplies each letter value on its 4.0 scale by its credit hours, sums the points, and divides by included credits. Zero-credit rows do not count.
- It uses A+=4.0, A=4.0, A−=3.7, B+=3.3, and the displayed scale through F=0.
- It represents up to five courses and the entered credit hours only.
- Rows with zero credits are omitted and do not affect the weighted average.
Personal academic estimate, not an official academic record. Your school or instructor's scale, weights, repeats, and policies control.

Worked example
Enter A for 3 credits, B+ for 3 credits, A- for 4 credits, and leave unused rows at 0 credits.
The weighted GPA is 3.67 across 10 credits.
Frequently asked questions
